To the Honorable Judges of the International Criminal Court (ICC),

We, the undersigned citizens of the Philippines and concerned individuals from around the world, respectfully submit this petition to urge the ICC to address the unlawful and unjust circumstances surrounding the arrest and detention of former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.

We believe that his arrest was illegal, politically motivated, and a violation of his rights as a leader who served the Filipino people with dedication and integrity.

Former President Duterte's leadership brought about significant improvements in public safety and security in the Philippines.

His unwavering commitment to the war on drugs and his efforts to eradicate crime and corruption made our communities safer and instilled a sense of hope and pride among the Filipino people. His policies, though controversial to some, were driven by a genuine desire to protect the nation and its citizens. The Filipino people overwhelmingly supported President Duterte during his tenure, and his absence from the political landscape has left a void that the current administration has failed to fill.

We believe that his arrest and detention are not only unjust but also a disservice to the millions of Filipinos who continue to admire and respect him for his leadership and dedication to the nation. We respectfully request that the ICC review the circumstances of President Duterte's arrest and ensure that justice is served.

We urge the ICC to facilitate his return to the Philippines, where he can continue to contribute to the nations. progress and well-being. Furthermore, we express our deep disappointment with the current administration under President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. His leadership has failed to meet the expectations of the Filipino people, and his actions have shown a lack of genuine concern for the welfare of the nation.

Without the support of Vice President Sara Duterte, it is clear that he would not have secured the presidency. His administration pales in comparison to the achievements of President Duterte, and we believe that the Filipino people deserve better.

We, the undersigned, stand united in our call for justice and the return of President Duterte to the Philippines. We urge the ICC to take immediate action to rectify this injustice and ensure that the voice of the Filipino people is heard.
