Please bring back Classic Pizza Hut

The Issue

Pizza Hut was once known for its red restaurants where customers would go inside to dine-in, listen to music at jukeboxes, play video arcade games, would have pizzas at a buffet table next to their salad bar, and drink soda from pitchers in their red cups.  In recent years, though, the dine-in experience has been phased out of most location and replaced mainly with carryout and delivery and the recipes to most pizzas, most notably their Pan Pizza, have had their ingredients changed since 2019.  The food was changed again in 2023 with the addition of soy and soybean oil to their pizzas and menu items, changing the way their food itself tastes.

However, one Pizza Hut in Hempstead, Texas has recently revamped its restaurant as Pizza Hut Classic by franchise owner Mike Patranella and it has since become popular with customers and visitors by bringing back their red cups and red-and-white checkered table cloths, among other retro aspects.  The changes have caught the attention as websites such as the Houston Chronicle and the location itself has gone viral on social media, including YouTube and Instagram.

We, the fans, would like to see Yum Brands make more Pizza Hut Classic restaurants across the United States for fans to dine-in and enjoy.
