UPDATE: August 17, 2023
THE TORONTO POLICE DIVISION 23 HAS NOT LOCATED ANDREW YET.
The Toronto Police were contacted regarding the two Facebook sightings today.
6:11 p.m. At Rexdale Mall Islington and 401 at Dollarama.
12:00 noon Walking south on Islington towards Dixon.
I had a phone interview this morning with a Toronto judge. The Form 2 has been SIGNED.
The articling student delivered the Form 2 and collateral information to Toronto Police Division 23.
Andrew will be taken to hospital by police under the Form 2 for an assessment by a psychiatrist. We hope that he is hospitalized for 72 hours or more.
I am requesting help to contact the Ontario Minister of Health, Sylvia Jones. Associate Minister of Mental Health and Addictions, Michael Tibillo and Premier of Ontario, Doug Ford. Please contact them on behalf of Andrew and his family. We are seeking a medical transfer to P.E.I.
There is a provision under the Mental Health Act whereby the Minister of Health can issue an order to have Andrew medically transferred home to P.E.I. If this order does not happen, Andrew will be released to the streets again possibly on Monday, August 21, 2023.
I think Andrew's PLEASE BRING ANDREW BRYENTON HOME TO P.E.I. PETITION with 4544 signatures will have an impact on the Minister of Health, Sylvia Jones. Here is the link: https://chng.it/TMKMZfHH2p
Literally thousands of Ontario and Prince Edward Island residents care about Andrew and many other homeless Andrews on the streets.
I had another interview today with Reshmi Nair - Newstalk 10/10 The Rush with Reshmi Nair.
The Toronto media is taking a great interest in Andrew's story. A blog was written by Marvin Ross entitled, WHY ONTARIO'S MENTAL HEALTH IS DEFICIENT THE TALE OF A HOMELESSMAN WHO SHOULDN'T BE HOMELESS. https://dawsonross.wordpress.com/
