Friends, It was announced last week that Ruth Bader Ginsburg's life has inspired an upcoming major motion picture. The film, "On the Basis of Sex," will highlight Justice Ginsburg's life-long fight for gender equality and star Oscar winner Natalie Portman as the Notorious RBG. Pretty amazing, right? As happy as I am to see RBG get some love from Hollywood, I am far more excited by her recent actions at the Supreme Court. A few weeks ago, Ruth Bader Ginsburg made headlines across the world for her support of Marriage Equality. "Eviscerating" arguments against the redefinition of marriage, Justice Ginsburg presented a scathing critique of "traditional marriage" (i.e., a non-egalitarian institution where women were subordinate to their husbands) and defended the right of all Americans to marry whomever they love.
