Continuing the trend with how things are going with the Luigi's Mansion series, each system that has a game with Luigi in the lead has been in the form of both a new game and a re-release of a previous game later on. And since Luigi's Mansion 3 can already be played on the Switch 2 through backwards compatibility and is already in HD, it is not the game that should be re-released on the system later in it's life span. Instead that should be done with the first Luigi's Mansion game, even though it already had it's re-release on the 3DS, but plenty of games can get re-released more then once. This time around however it would more likely take the same approach as what was done for Luigi's Mansion 2's re-release rather to point where much of what it's first re-release included will be left out this time around.
