Whilst the 3rd live action Sonic The Hedgehog film was able to have taken aspects from Sonic Adventure 2 such as with of course Shadow, Gerald Robotnik, Maria Robotnik and GUN Soldiers, one thing it wasn't able to include was of course Rouge The Bat. Fortunately it has been announcement that there will be a 4th live action Sonic film, going beyond how the creators intended it to be a trilogy by having 3 films total, in it is to include Amy Rose and Metal Sonic in live action form for the first time, and is looking to take aspects from Sonic CD.

This could however be the last live action Sonic film ever, as there was never a video game with the name Sonic The Hedgehog 5, so it should also include aspects from Sonic Adventure, in addition to making use of Rouge The Bat in some from after not being in the 3rd live action film despite rumours. She could be one to start working with Shadow in terms of whatever he gets up to next, even if it doesn't involve him starting to be associated with the GUN.
