Terminix is one of the largest pest control companies in the world, operating in 47 states in the United States and 22 countries around the world. Terminix uses glue traps every day. Please ask Terminix to stop using cruel glue traps and to follow more humane practices of pest control.

Glue traps cause slow, agonizing deaths to animals—including mice, birds, squirrels, and other small animals—who get caught in them. These animals can die of suffocation, dehydration, or starvation while stuck to a trap, or the glue can rip patches of skin, fur, or feathers from their bodies as they desperately struggle to escape. Death can take days.

Glue traps are filthy—in fact, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) cautions against their use. Glue traps don’t even work to control rodent populations: When rodents are killed, a spike in the food supply results, prompting accelerated breeding among survivors and newcomers and causing increased populations!
