As of writing, it has been over 2,217 days since the release of Bloodborne. It is a game that defines the genre we know as "Soulsborne" games, but it helped shape the PlayStation 4 generation.

At The Trophy Room (@PSTrophyRoom), we say it every week that Bloodborne fans deserve a sequel. We've seen merch the likes of statues, comics, board games, and is even featured in the PS Plus Collection and yet we haven't gotten a PC port or let a lot a 60 fps boost for PS5 users.

We know that From Software holds a fondness for the IP and Hidetaka Miyazaki himself says that Bloodborne was his favorite game to make. We know that the decision is up to PlayStation whether or not the game sees a sequel. That is why we must grant PlayStation the eyes to see that this franchise deserves a sequel. Only then will we be able to traverse the fog into the nightmare and visit Yharnam once more after all... a Hunter must Hunt!

(All this talk of what game deserves sequels may seem silly but it also shows how much we love these worlds that these teams create. Farewell, good hunters.)
