Forza Horizon was released for Xbox 360 in 2012. In September 2016, Microsoft finally made this title backwards compatible for XboxOne, and offered it as part of their Games With Gold promotion that month. However, several weeks later it was announced that Xbox would be delisting the game and all downloadable content from their Xbox Store, with both game and DLC no longer available to purchase from October 2016 onwards!

The DLC is a crucial element of the game, and is required in order to achieve various Xbox achievements. There are two major game add-ons - 1,000 Club and Horizon Rally, which extend the replayability of the game, and which offer additional achievement goals - both of which are no longer available, rendering specific related achievements unobtainable!

This petition is aimed at Playground Games (the developer), and Microsoft Xbox, with the goal to have both the game and all downloadable content made available to purchase once again. Many gamers will have downloaded the game in September 2016 as part of the Games With Gold promotion on either Xbox 360 or XboxOne, and may be disappointed to discover that they are unable to access certain aspects of the game, or gain many of the achievements. The content still exists on the Xbox Store for those who have previously purchased it, but remains locked for customers who wish to purchase it.
