In the wake of the recent COVID-19 containment efforts, student-athletes at every level have been disrespected. By cancelling sports in the midst of their seasons, this causes athletes who have played to lose their year of eligibility. Seniors who were looking to play their last season have had it unceremoniously torn away from them. I am speaking on behalf of all NAIA athletes when I say that we deserve our year of eligibility back. We have worked too hard and have dealt with too much to have one of the thing we hold dear taken away without true rhyme or reason.

We are asking the NAIA to grant us our year of eligibility back and give us the power to send our seniors off with some dignity.
