There is no justification for fox hunting.  It doesn't keep fox numbers down any more than leaving them alone as they self regulate their own population (alpha ranking foxes kill the cubs of lower ranking foxes when their population gets too large, something which stops if the local alphas are killed in a hunt) especially when you consider ho many hunters help foxes to breed so they have more animals to hunt.  Even if there was an ecological case for it, there is absolutely no justification for the barbaric way they chase a terrified fox through the countryside to the point of exhaustion before ripping having their dogs rip it apart alive, often while conducting such heinous acts as "de-socking" (tearing the skin off of a fox's legs.)  All MPs voting in favour of fox hunting should be ashamed, but particularly any who consider themselves or their party progressive or environmentalist.  Fox hunting is nothing but a sadistic power trip for the already too powerful.
