In may 2020 Jonathan Edward's mp was removed from his home address following a domestic violence incident.  It has since been confirmed that Mr Edward's was cautioned by Dyfed Powys Police.

As a member of his constituency  and a domestic violence survivor I hold no faith in mr Edward's behaviour and hope that plaid cymru will not condone this behaviour by continuing to support Mr Edward's political career by removing him from his parliamentary seat of Carmarthenshire East & Dinefwr and having a by-election.
