The rakyat remembers, that between 2004-6, there was a huge fiasco where the MRR2, which was being built, has many cracks, due to stress and strain on it's functional pillars. This was around the Kepong site.
Many studies/ tests were done, costing RM 70m, and furthermore, the highway was already over budget and yet did not meet standards. Are we sure the highways of today will be compliant compared to 15-20 yrs ago?
Well, fast forward 15 yrs; in 2019, more deficiences were found in other parts of the MRR2, this time in Cheras area. What was done to rectify this? Now, how can M'sia really fix these issues?
We have been called; "first world infrastructure country, with 3rd world mentality management"; which is sad. What is our government and lawmakers going to do about it?
