[2019]

This news is about Amsterdam, Netherlands, where the people decided NOT TO IMPLEMENT the highway.

In Malaysia, the rakyat has almost no voice, and practically no say when the gazette comes about. The only value add we rakyat can do, is the ensure the State govt comply to the "DUE PROCESS" of highway design; ie, all documentation MUST BE MADE PUBLIC - before any comtemplation of having any form of meetings with any resident can take place.

Where is the outcome of FOI (Freedom of Information) that was discussed back in 2016?

Both MBPJ, PJDLink developer has not complied to this, instead, twisting the logic and asking rakyat to hear them out (unofficially). Knowing M'sia's local council management's twisted logic, they will consider this as 'acceptance' later. We have to ensure "DUE PROCESS" is complied.

In the 1960s, it seemed clear that the future was the car. Amsterdam had its own plans about how to make the city more car-friendly. Some of these plans failed, others only partially.

Discover how radically different Amsterdam might have been had these plans succeeded.
