There are a number of NGOs in Petaling Jaya, who have expressed support for the controversial Kidex(Kinrara Damansara Expressway) highway project.

Based on their opinions, it's mostly selfish needs of theirs, to travel northbound, due to the choke points on Old Klang Road, Jln Templer, etc. 

The design of having an alternative highway in the city, to disperse traffic off LDP, is clearly wrong, conceptually flawed (bringing traffic into city when it should be dispersing out), and will damage more than 10 thousand properties for the sake of 1000 properties (assuming Kinrara, 1Utama areas use it daily). 

What thoughts have the city planners, transport solutionists done for the last 7-8 years since then?
