Coalition Against PJDLink highway (CAP)Petaling Jaya, Malasia

Let's hear what residents are saying back when KIDEX was cancelled, but PJDLink came about. The residents are angry, not just because of the displacement, but: 1. noise & dust pollution, 2. loss of property asset due to land being taken, 3. devaluation of property, for those who are staying near the highway; 4. even with the offset price given by the Land acquisition act or compensatory benefits, the choices of landed property in replacement cannot be retrieved; 5. PJDLink is not free; it will tax road users, at least 5-8RM/ one way. Using it 22days/ mth = 220-350RM/ mth, just for tolls. Is it worth it? 6. Why not improve the transport routes from Kinrara-Old Klang Road (OKR); then OKR- Sec14, Sec17-Kota Dsara - which is 10x cheaper and more efficient? 7. For MBPJ Councillors, why are studies not done from the Transport side, and only focus on Infra side?  Is it because Highways are concessions, and all parties; i.e. developers, Local council, construction firms, i.e. cronies, all stand to make money? Who loses? The rakyat. Please see the video.
