On June 2, 2015, Jacob "Jake" Gerlach of Bellevue Borough was arrested for cruelty to animals. Mr. Gerlach threw a defenseless kitten against a wall and sat on the kitten to crush it. The kitten was so abused she was crippled, BLINDED and SEVERELY brain-damaged.  Mr. Gerlach even posts Facebook pictures of animals being eaten alive. Mr. Gerlach is charged with animal cruelty for throwing the kitten against a wall and sitting on it to crush it. His hearing is in September; please ensure the Pittsburgh judicial system charges him; people who abuse animals always move on to people, and no animal, especially a defenseless kitten, should go through this torture!
