The Overman Student Center provides students, faculty, staff, and guests with services to meet the need of daily life on campus. The Overman Student Center, as well as Pittsburg State as a whole, is very tentative to mothers attending their schools. There is a lactation room in the student center where mothers can nurse, pump, or change their children, a changing station can even be found in every women's restroom.  When surveying multiple men, there isn't changing stations in the men's or the handicap accessible restroom in the student center. This lack of necessary equipment in the restrooms creates unfairness to all, as men who bring their children, or those with disabilities and their caretakers, to the center are forced to change them in uncomfortable ways like the floor or their lap, in some cases they have to leave the center completely. The humility of changing a loved one in inappropriate ways has to end and to make it inclusive to all, a change has to be made. 

My goal is to install universal changing stations in the handicap accessible restrooms in the Overman Student Center. The installation in the handicap accessible restrooms will allow everyone to utilize the changing facilities, whether they are male, female, or disabled. This is a budget friendly, family friendly, student friendly option to create a reliable facility at Pittsburg State University.
