In the past week, it has been revealed that the acting director at Plano West, Michael Davison, has created an unsafe learning environment for Plano West theatre students. 

Mr.Davison has made inappropriate sexual comments towards male students in the past. Davison has also made multiple sexual advances on students by contacting them through dating apps. Mr.Davison has been absent during classes and rehearsals, leaving the students to run the rehearsals by themselves. He has also verbally harassed students before creating a hostile environment for children. For example, he has harassed students because of their gender identity or political views. Lastly, Davison was aware of the sexist bullying that his male students were participating in but failed to report any of this behavior because of his favoritism. This caused many women in the theatre department to feel unsafe. 

Students deserve an educator who equally cares about the passion AND the safety and wellbeing of their students. Help to better the learning environment at Plano West by firing Michael Davison.
