There are nearly 22 million women living in poverty in the United States who cannot afford menstrual hygiene products. This issue is in large part because of The Pink Tax. This tax increases the price of feminine products such as pads, tampons, razors, and deodorant, solely because these products appear to be directed towards females. Our goal is to pass The Pink Tax Repeal Act, which would eliminate this unnecessary tax.
