YES to progress and the North County Pinellas Trail Extension through Countryside

The Issue

Every other community around us already has trails including Safety Harbor, Oldsmar, Palm Harbor, and Tarpon Springs.  This will connect us to those areas and provide safe places for walkers, runners, and bicyclists.

It will give people options for alternative transportation to and from.  It will benefit us from having safe places to exercise.  It will draw people from around our neighborhood to stay in our area and not have to travel elsewhere for this amenity.

We live in a great area and concerns about safety and being blown out of proportion based on facts of how safe and how well maintained the other trails are throughout the county.

This project will draw young families to our area.

The current plans utilize much of the Duke easement with minimal impact to homes.  The portion along Countryside Boulevard will make the already existing sidewalks that are already full of walkers, joggers, and bicyclists wider and safer for all.  There are no homes facing the street which means there will be minimal impact to homeowners.

Show your support for safety, health, and just how much this project makes sense to our community!
