I Xzavier Mead would like to make a proposal that I feel would be very moving and touching to everyone in my community by changing the Northeast High School football field to Jacquez Welch field. I believe that if I were to present this idea to anyone in my community, they would support me on this task that I have given myself on making it a goal for the fields name to be changed. I would love to fulfill this task for many reasons such as, this is something that I feel would be very meaningful to not just Northeast but our whole community, I also feel this would be a great way to honor a fallen member whose life was lost on that very football field during the matchup between Northeast and Osceola, another reason is Jaquez was a loved figure by all who ever spoke to him or watched him play the game and for the people who didn’t personally know Jaquez just know he cared for everyone no matter what he was very loving, caring, charismatic, humble, courageous, and many more things.
