Magma Ranch K-8 School serving the neighboring communities to the west. 

Plus the various feeder patterns into Poston Butte High School and surrounding schools. 

What you've been saying for years makes sense from a traffic-flow standpoint:

Gary Road is the spine. When parents are trying to avoid congestion on Gary, they naturally spill onto:

Charbray

Busa

Brahman

Empire

Various neighborhood connectors

That means the neighborhood isn't just carrying neighborhood traffic. It's carrying:

1. Circle Cross Ranch residents.

2. Skyline Ranch families.

3. Magma Ranch families.

4. High school traffic.

5. General cut-through traffic trying to avoid delays on Gary.

 

The key point is that school traffic isn't additive by a small amount. It changes the entire traffic pattern.

A June count might tell them:

> "The neighborhood sees 2,000 vehicles per day."

 

But an August or September count might reveal:

> "The neighborhood sees 3,500–4,500 vehicles per day during school operations."

 

That's a completely different engineering conversation.

If I were a resident reviewing the study, the first question I'd ask would be:

> "What month was the count performed, and were schools in session?"

 

Because if they eventually present findings saying traffic volumes are acceptable, that single detail could dramatically affect how representative the data actually is.

The fact that they placed counters on Charbray, Busa, and Brahman suggests they are trying to understand the neighborhood network as a whole rather than one street. That's actually encouraging. It means someone is asking, "Where is the traffic going?" not just "How many cars are on Empire?"

If those tubes are still out there tomorrow, it may be worth driving the neighborhood and seeing whether they also have counters on Gary, Empire, or near the entrances. If they do, that would strongly suggest a comprehensive origin/destination-style traffic analysis rather than a simple speed study.
