We are asking Pike County Board of Commissioners to vote NO to the special exception MOD-S.E.-17-03 on September 29th and to revise the conditions to the Madden solar farm project to protect the health,safety, and welfare of the residents and local watersheds. 

We further request a full scale review be conducted on Madden LLC AND CORONAL ENERGY due to recent violations of EPA laws, specifically storm water management, and water pollution at the Essex County Solar Plant in Virginia. 

We ask that a special exception be made to allow time for Pike Residents for Responsible Solar to present equitable solutions and amendments to the existing proposal further protecting the interest of the environment, residents directly impacted by the power plant, as well as the financial interests of Pike County as a whole.
