Dean of Pierson College June Chu has made several racist remarks regarding white people, referring to them as "white trash" on her Yelp account. The student body, the academic community, and society at large cannot trust that she has not let her personal racist bias infest her work. We demand that Yale University and Pierson College immediately launch an investigation into her career in academia, provide reasonable reparations for all she has harmed through her racism, and immediately terminate June Chu's employment. We also demand that any student or student-applicant that was subject to June Chu's racism be given a written letter of apology by Pierson College admitting guilt for their dean's behavior.
