A London Living Wage for Picturehouse Workers

Living Staff Living Wage started this petition to Mooky Greidinger CEO Cineworld Cinemas (CEO Cineworld Cinemas) and

Ritzy Cinema workers have been campaigning for Picturehouse and Cineworld Cinemas to pay the London Living Wage across all London cinemas for just short of ten years.

Having gained high profile support in our 2014 campaign, the workers at the Ritzy and Hackney Picturehouse have now joined forces in the campaign for the London Living Wage.

Our CEO, Mooky Greidinger, took home £1.2 million in 2015, and the post-tax profit of the company stood at £83.8 million. We're merely asking for £9.75 per hour!

Staff at Hackney, Picturehouse Central, Crouch End, Brighton Duke of York's and Oxford have all submitted petitions for BECTU union recognition, but Cineworld continue to refuse the request. In 2017, the company will open West Norwood Library Picturehouse and won't be adhering to Lambeth Council Policy wages.

What we're asking for isn't unreasonable. Everyone deserves a real Living Wage, company maternity/paternity pay, company sick pay for all and fair wages for their grade at work.

Please support our growing campaign. Your support is as invaluable today as it always has been.
