I am creating this petition because there is still a large and active fanbase for The 100. Years after the show ended, people continue to post edits, share theories, and have discussions across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Reddit, with millions of active viewers engaging with The 100 content on TikTok alone. The audience has not disappeared, and the interest in this world is still clearly there.

The prequel already introduced a strong and well-developed concept. It explored the origins of the Grounders and the early days after the nuclear apocalypse, which many fans have wanted to see for a long time. It was not picked up during a period heavily impacted by covid, when many productions were delayed or cancelled, and priorities shifted across the industry. That is clearly no longer the case.

HBO Max already has The 100 available on its platform, which makes it a logical place to continue the story. Reviving the prequel would bring back existing fans and introduce new viewers who are discovering the series through streaming.

This is a realistic opportunity to expand a proven story with an established audience. The demand is still present, and the support for this world has not gone away. This prequel deserves a chance to be made.
