Here is the city’s response

“We made the decision to extend book-a-court to other locations based on positive feedback from the Palmer pilot, a best practice review of other municipalities across North America, as well as conversations with neighboring residents, and players.

Our goal is to find a balanced and equitable approach that supports fair access to outdoor court space that will both address current concerns that the City and players are facing, and that will support play as our community grows and the sport continues to attract even more players.

After receiving additional community feedback, we have adjusted the Tansley Courts to be a combination of book-a-court and casual drop-in play. Please note it will take some time for the web page to be updated to reflect this.

Here’s a breakdown of the times:

Casual Drop-In Play, 7 days a week, 8am-12pm, 6-8pm
Book-a-court, 7 days a week, 12-6pm
Also please remember that you are still free to use the courts on a first come, first serve basis during book-a-court hours at any of the parks if there is no one there with a booking.”
