Many Pickens residents have expressed over the years to add fall softball and baseball to the Pickens rec department. All cities surrounding the Pickens area offer fall ball except Pickens. When asked why we do not have it we were told because of money issues for increasing the budget such as umpire fees.  We have grown drastically over the years in Pickens and the turn out would be great if offered. Alot of Pickens residents are going to different cities for their rec program for several reasons but one that has been voiced is because they offer fall ball. If you have children in the Pickens area and would like the Rec to add fall softball and fall baseball please vote yes and sign your name.
