War on Hunger! Keep your hands off our soup kitchens #1000Women1Voice

The Issue

The South African Goverment proposes to control and accredit soup kitchens in South Africa. Many Women's organisations started soup kitchens, mobilise funding, solicit Food donations, recruited volunteers and served 1000's of meals to vulnerable Communities!

The National Department of Social Development now proposes to CONTROL, MANAGE AND DETERMINE who can run a soup kitchen!  Food donations to be Centralised!

We say NO... Keep your hands off our soup kitchens! We as communities and NPOs will decide how, when we provide food! We demand DSD to stop!

NPOs have successfully provided food to 1000's of people while DSD and corrupt officials tried to distribute food parcels! What a disaster! Now confusion on SASSA relief! Now this same department want to Feed the Communities! Stay away! Do not touch our soup kitchens! Please join our protest! Please sign and share this petition!
