Students in South Carolina should be allowed to use phones in between classes, during lunch, and during focus/homeroom periods, and should be allowed to use laptops that are not distributed by the school. I believe the state law is hindering students from communicating, practicing independence, and robbing students of personal privileges that should not be taken away.
