Why this petition matters

The ABS-CBN Network is in service of the Filipino in and outside of the country. 

The company not only produces entertainment, they have multiple news channels that keep people informed throughout the world.

Denying them of their franchise renewal is an affront to freedom of speech not just in the republic, it threatens press freedom worldwide. It is unclear why the government is attacking the broadcast corporation. The Duterte administration’s continued attacks against media organizations should not go unanswered. 

History Repeats Itself
