Philippines borders are closed since March. Unfortunately for Filipinos whose partner is a foreigner and aren't married, only married couples are today allowed to meet again in Philippines.

Partners used to enter in the country as tourists which fall into non-essential travel regulations, but this is far from leisure travel. It's definitely an essential travel. Many couples today struggle with these restrictions, have been away from each other for months, have seen their marriage postponned.

Some countries, like Denmark, have realized how difficult it was for couples to be apart, and allow partners to be reunited with their beloved. We ask the Philippines government to have compassion, and follow the same path. Love is a primary reason to travel which can't be ignored.
