Deliver justice for the people who were abused by the Iglesia Ni Cristo Council of Advisers.

The Issue

We are living witnesses to the exposes of abuses and other unlawful activities being perpetrated by the members of the Council of Advisers of the Iglesia Ni Cristo. We have seen how these men in religious robes disregard the laws of the land, usurp authorities, use their connections and camouflage their inequities by branding them as lawful and internal Church affairs. In most instances, the Council hide behind the cloak of the Doctrine Separation of Church and State.
We have once asked ourselves; When is the state going to step in to prevent this controversy from escalating beyond one’s imagination? When will the doctrine of the separation of church and state be set aside to give way for the country's criminal justice system?
Allegations of criminal activates - abduction, violations of human rights, grave threats, malicious mischief, obstruction of justice, obvious cover-ups and stupendously concocted lies and plunder of church funds - have been disclosed. Pleas and appeal for help, picture of an abducted minister’s wife and baby who were also reportedly kidnapped by armed goons messages
have been flashed repeatedly on television and the internet.
Finally, a brave minister and his family came out to seek justice for the wrong and harm inflicted upon them by the INC Council. They did what is right. They came out to ventilate their grievances and file criminal cases against their abusers. They risked their lives and limbs for the the truth, for justice and to save the Church.,
The Council lost no time parrying this blow. They tried to thwart the issues by putting undue pressure on the Secretary of Justice. They are out to utilize every arms in their arsenal. They use their connections, their influence and worst, they are bound to use the poor unsuspecting INC brethren to shield themselves from what is forthcoming. They want to stage a people power by the INC members in their attempt to frustrate the processes and the wheels of justice from moving towards its right direction. They want to ignore and throw away the Philippines Criminal Justice System by unduly invoking the Doctrine of the Separation of Church and State.
Anent this, we call on Secretary Liela De Lima to be strong and steadfast in her sworn duty. We call on His Excellency Pres. Benigno S. Aquino III to fully support the Secretary of Justice. We call on every God-fearing government functionary to stand for what is right, to stand solid behind the Justice Secretary in her quest for the truth and justice; to stand for the lawful processes of the State and the laws of the land. After all, the government and its laws are here because of God's anointment.

Finally, we call on every citizen of the world to sign this petition. We need to collectively stop this seeming invincibility of most churches. We need to check the practices of church leaders which border on immorality and unlawful abuses. Please sign this petition.
