Businesses in Phillip are constantly under pressure and the implementation proposed by the ACT government of paid parking metres will make the situation worse.

We were offered a consultation process by the Chief Minister and the appropriate department to implement the best parking strategy for the area, however our opportunity for input has now been ignored.

The ACT government has decided to install paid parking metres anyway.

This decision will gravely effect the profitability of small business in Phillip and the future employment prospects of it's workers.
