The feeding of Canada Geese at Joe Tucker Park and Helena Cemetery has got to stop. It has become a nuisance to anyone wanting to walk at the park, use the pavilion and pay there respects to loved ones at the cemetery. Please sign this petition that will be taken to the next Helena City Council meeting in support of a new ordinance banning and making it illegal to feed the geese anymore. Their migratory patterns are being affected, as well as they have become dependent on humans feeding them. This is not only for our benefit as citizens and visitors to the park but for the geese as well.
