Being a longtime resident of the city of Philadelphia senseless acts of violence and crime come with no surprise. Yet they seem to send residents and news watchers into temporary uproars. My question is when will these temporary uproars GAIN results? How many people must fall victim to these senseless and reckless acts??
On July 16th Samara Banks(27yo) and her three young sons were hit and killed on Roosevelt Blvd & 2nd street. Four Deaths that could have easily been prevented had there have traffic lights in place to simply warn Samara that it wasn't yet safe to cross with her boys.
As a resident , a mother , a sister, and a friend I ask and urge you all to show your support and join Leslie, Shanice (Samara's Cousin) and myself on our mission to prevent another family from experiencing this heartache.
