Public schools in the Philadelphia area aren’t given the same funding that schools in the suburbs get, due to their location and property tax. Due to the lack of funding, Philadelphia public school children don’t have the same opportunities that children in more rural areas have.For example with the lack of funding public schools lack necessary stationery supplies.
