Bring back the Backyard Chickens to Philadelphia - it is the Hen's Hour!

Philadelphia remains one of the very few major cities without backyard chickens. Bills currently being considered by our city council will change that by allowing backyard hens.  Philadelphians will be able to enjoy fresh eggs in their own backyard. 

The city benefits from the household food scraps that are kept out of landfills when they are fed to backyard chickens.  Each hen saves at least $7 per year in trash management costs.  

Support these bills so Philadelphians can enjoy the fresh eggs and food sovereignty that backyard chickens offer.
