Dem. Party Chair McCabe Doesn’t Want A Chinese American To Be In Edison’s Government –  Tell Him We Don’t Want McCabe To Lead The Democratic Party

Middlesex County Democratic Organization Chairman Kevin McCabe unilaterally removed a qualified Chinese American woman – Shannon Peng – from the Democratic Party after she refused to support McCabe’s vendors who make millions from the taxes paid by residents.    

Shannon Peng earned 85% of the local Edison Democratic Party’s support based on her positions on vendor reform.

Shannon Peng is currently on the Edison Board of Education, where she has saved taxpayers nearly $9 million by removing politically connected vendors.

McCabe, angry that Shannon Peng takes such positions unilaterally replaced her with a team led by Samip (“Sam”) Joshi who has attacked the Asian American community

Sam Joshi tried to take out the only Chinese American representative on the Edison Library Board

Sam Joshi led the effort to fire New Jersey’s first Chinese American Library Director in Edison

Sam Joshi refused to condemn or even speak out against the Edison Deputy Mayor who referred to the Chinese community as the “Chinese Virus” during COVID-19

Sam Joshi supports McCabe and has always voted to approve high dollar contracts to McCabe’s vendors.

We need to Stop the McCabe-Joshi corruption and their attacks on the Asian American community.
