Down in Mississippi, Jefferson Davis County has a name that needs to be changed. Not only did Davis fight for slavery, but he owned over 70 slaves that worked for his cotton plantation.  Currently, Jefferson Davis County’s population is 60% African American. How would you feel if your county was named after someone who used your ancestors as slaves? If you agree that the name of this county should be removed, please help me in changing the name of the county by supporting this petition.
