We the People (Students, Parents, Grandparents, Staff, Teachers & Volunteers) at Olivet Elementary Charter School call on the Piner-Olivet Union School District to re-instate Ms. Robbins and Ms. Werle so they can remain teaching in our school.

Both of these teachers have been proven to be excellent teachers and they are well-liked by the community at Olivet Elementary Charter School.  We believe that they are a "great fit" for our community and our school and that they deserve to be treated well for the great jobs they've been doing with our kids the past two years.  They deserve recognition, not termination.  During this time of epic teacher shortages in California, we think it is a mistake to let wonderful teachers like Ms. Robbins and Ms. Werle go.

Our children deserve stability, not a revolving door where their most beloved and talented teachers and staff are forced to leave merely because they've committed the crime of reaching the end of their probationary period.  While this may save the Piner-Olivet Union School District money in the short term, we believe that in the long run this will cause the School District to actually loose money because schools with high turnover of teachers and staff will eventually translate to parents choosing to enroll their children in other schools with more positive and stable learning environments.  We do not want to see that happen.  We need to KEEP good teachers at Olivet Elementary Charter School!  Please support our teachers and sign this petition now and share it with your family and friends.
