Revisit the absence of a Major Medical extension for the tournament-wins exemption category for the Champions Tour, as it relates to Ken Green and others.

The Issue

PGA Tour player Ken Green lost his leg while playing on the Champions (Senior PGA) Tour. At the time, he still had 14 months of eligibility on that Tour. After his accident, despite there being specific criteria to prevent players from losing their eligibility for reasons beyond their control, Ken Green has lost the ability to play in tournaments because in his exemption category (career tournament victories) there is no Major Medical extension permitted (unlike the other two categories where there are). Ken Green is trying to make a comeback on the professional golf tour to inspire millions of amputees and the population in general to show what you can do if you just keep plugging away.
