Pfizer (parent company of many popular brand - Chapstick, Advil, etc.) performs a “forced swim test”. Rodents are put into a beaker with water. They quickly realize there is no way for them to escape. Panicked, they claw and swim and try to leave but cannot. Eventually, the animal begins to float. They conduct these experiments on rodents to measure depression-like behavior. There’s one large problem: there is no sign or symptom of depression modeled in the test. There’s absolutely no point to run this test except to watch innocent animals suffer. Please sign and share in hopes of ending this cruelty.
