In reaction to recent events, I'm proud to declare a partial victory for this petition! Pfizer and Allergan walked away from their proposed 150 billion merger after the Obama administration, Bernie Sanders, and several other influential politicians set their sites on the deal that would have moved the biggest drug company in the U.S. to Ireland in order to exploit tax loopholes. Pfizer's board voted to stop the pending merger. Although Pfizer didn't reverse their price hike, hopefully, they will think twice before increasing the price of prescription medication.
