Drinking Water system urgently needs updated.

The drinking water in Pettigo is becoming a health concern for my family, not only is it undrinkable for years, very hard, high levels of limescale, and strong taste of clorine all the time, scum on tea, destroying household appliances not lasting any more than a year, drying out skin and hair 

Making something as simple as bottles for a baby is impossible.

The pipework needs updating this alone should be concerning for anyone drinking and bathing in this water. 

I logged a few complaints to Irish water on several occasions, but this is not enough.

As a community we all need to come together and address this issue in order for Irish water to listen and act.

So I am setting up this petition for all those in the community that feel the same and voice your concerns and help towards making our water clean and drinkable,

As a mother with young children and not having to worry if the water they are consuming (from drinking and cooking) could harm their health, and bathing in could cause possible long term skin issues, and being able to make bottles for my baby with clean water would make life easier and making bottles should not be hard. 

We are living in the 21st century with murky brown water...this is not fair for the health of our community young and old, and Irish water need to act now.

I would be delighted to welcome any support from Donegal councillors to help us achieve this overdue up grade.
