Could you fathom how it might feel to have to surrender your pet because of financial difficulty?  Pets are your friends, your companions, your family members, and so much more!

That is happening in record numbers as we speak because of the current situation in society.  Millions of households now with no jobs and no income are finding it hard to afford pet supplies for the pet members of their family.

Pets are being surrendered to shelters, which don't have room for many of them, or even sometimes completely abandoned.  And this is because of monetary reasons to acquire pet food and supplies

But we can help!   You can help!

With PetFoodShare.com, we are setting up collection and distribution points at local pet stores and grocery stores...where people with extra money may buy an extra bag of hay, pet food, or additional supplies and donate it for someone in their community who has a pet in need.

But the problem is the corporations such as Petsmart and Publix that sell these products have expressed they are UNWILLING TO HELP by simply allowing a nonintrusive box or table to be placed at the front of their store to accept donations.

The comment from PetSmart was that this is considered "solicitation" according to their corporate rules, and they are not going to make an exception.

Please help let these companies know that as their customers, in local communities, we support having them place these nonintrusive collection points in the front of their store so people can help people in their communities with Pets in need.
