Proper housing for and information pertaining to chameleons sold in PetSmart stores.

The Issue

Selling a reptile (chameleons) to an unsuspecting buyer, and improper housing of the reptile during its stay in PetSmart stores is not safe for the chameleon and will potentially cost the chameleon it's health/life and the potential buyer of said reptile a lot money. PetSmart stores do not house their chameleons in a manner that they have posted on their care sheets for buyers and in many cases, dont sell the proper equipment in their stores (example: only sell small screen cages, that the chameleons being sold has already outgrown, dont sell water drippers, required bugs for feeding etc.)

It is completely irresponsible for a pet store to not house their animals in a manor that they should be housed at their new forever home. As a pet store that makes significant profits, you should be doing this properly and training your employees properly, or, not sell the reptile at all. These are highly sensitive animals. I have seen person upon person seeking help after your store, and other stores have sold them reptiles with improper housing, and chameleon after chameleon sent to their deaths, or a rescue once people realize they have been had by your stores... Its time for you to change.....
