Change bully ban on Doggie Day Camps

Change bully ban on Doggie Day Camps
The Issue
For a place that seems friendly to its customers, it is not friendly to all. PetSmart is a place where customers of all kinds (humans and pets) come to get the necessities they need for their household. It is also a place that provides a Doggie Day Camp service for our friendly canines to have play time and interact with other dogs throughout the day. However, this service is not welcomed to all. According to PetSmart, “Dogs in the "bully breed" classification (i.e. American Pit Bull Terriers, Miniature Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, American Bull Dogs, Bull Terriers or mixed breeds that have the appearance or characteristics of one of these breeds) is not allowed to partake in Doggie Day Camp Activities. The picture shown is a picture of my dog Max who is a Daschund/Pit bull mix. He weighs 22 pounds and is as friendly as can be. He was denied access to the Doggie Day Camp due to his mixed breed appearance. Dogs are not being allowed into this Camp based on their breed rather than their temperament. I've created this petition to try and get the attention of PetSmart and dog owners to ask PetSmart to change their requirements and provide an interviewing process to evaluate dog’s temperament WITHOUT discrimination.
