Please sign this petition to help raise awareness regarding the current outbreak of pancytopenia in cat food. 
“Since April 2021 there have been over 130 cases of feline pancytopenia, an illness that can often be fatal in cats. Pancytopenia is a very rare condition where the number of blood cells (red, white and platelets) rapidly decrease, causing serious illness.” 

Many felines have been affected by this outbreak and as you can imagine it is devastating for owners.
More foods are being added to the “bad batch” list on a daily basis and we are getting very few answers from company’s. Help us raise awareness so that Fold Hills food ltd is held accountable for each and every death of these poor innocent felines and the heart break it has caused. 
This is a very serious case and yet we do not see if plasters on our daily news feeds, social media outlets (other than private groups). 
Pets at home who are responsible for selling two of the main foods on the list (AVA and Applaws) still have no notification of this recall on their website. A basic email was sent out about the recall but again gave no information. In store they have stripped the stands of these products but again no information is offered to customers. 
Let’s fight for our felines as they offer so much to our lives and are part of our family. Be their voice and stand to get justice for any and all felines affect by this. 
•Companies should be held accountable. 
•Vets bills should be paid (whether the animal has had a confirmed case or not) if they have eaten any of the affected foods/treats on the confirmed list with the bad number of products being recalled. 
•More testing should be carried out on pet foods before being sold to stop recalls happening in the future. 
•Owners should be made aware of any testing/concerns being carried out on animal products used in pet food as soon as research starts to help prevent losses.
